The other day I was watching the news on tv (kind of surprising, I know) and I heard something that made me think, "...really?". By now, most of us have heard of Steven Slater, the former JetBlue flight attendant who quit dramatically by cussing out the passengers, grabbing a couple cold ones, and sliding down the emergency chute. Now, Mr. Slater has been offered a job as a reality tv show host in which he will help frustrated employees quit their jobs in dramatic fashion.

Inspired by this move, I have an exciting announcement to make. Beginning this fall, I will be hosting my own reality tv show, Blogomania!! (Yes, the exclamation points are part of the title). On my exciting new show, I will help young college students with too much time on their hands make next to no difference in the community by posting their opinions in their own homemade blogs! The blogger with the most followers at the end of the season will be eligible to win the grand prize of three nickels! Catch all of the drama, excitement, and heartbreak this fall on GBC!

(I mean no offense to my fellow bloggers. Really, some of you do have entertaining and/or interesting blogs and some of you might actually influence their community, like my brother's brother-in-law's truck-bed garden blog. But really, a reality show to help people quit their jobs? Please.)
