This isn't the official music video for this song, but I love live performances, especially when they're as "chill" or "intimate" as this. Hope you enjoy!

Gorr-Bliss Comments required!

So last night, we had a set of about 35 interior doors that absolutely HAD to be finished, so I had the "privilege" of working about thirteen hours with my dad, my brother, and some dude named Rick. Somewhere amidst the haze of fatigue and stain fumes, Shakira came on through my phone (Yes, I listen to music on my phone because my ipod took a trip through the washing machine). It reminded me of a moment of pure bliss that I experienced while in Puerto Rico.
It was at a ward party one evening. Chori Cardona invited everyone to his beach house in Aguada, on the west coast of the island. At this time, our mission president was encouraging us to participate in ward activities and such so, we were there. The whole party was excellent, but there was one moment that struck me as pure bliss and I will never forget. I was sitting in a hammock with a pina buena (one of the best pineapple sodas ever!), swinging slowly back and forth with my eyes closed. There was a very light breeze, just strong enough to keep the temperature comfortable, and the only things I heard were the ocean waves, and a very chill song by Shakira. When I did open my eyes, I saw one of the most gorgeous ocean sunsets I've ever seen! It was definitely one of those moments that I wish I could stretch to last forever.
So, now for some audience participation! In a comment to this post, please explain to me a moment in your life where you've felt the most blissful. I'm excited to see what you all have to say!
(And yes, that picture is actually off the beach in Aguada.)

Music Video Monday #4: Muse - Resistance
I love this song, and this concert was one of the most amazing musical experiences of my life. This video definitely brings back awesome memories. Those of you who didn't make it to Muse's Resistance Tour definitely missed out, but here's a taste!
Oh, and I've had to change the rules of Music Video Monday a little. From now on, music videos will be posted on any day during the week, as long as that week contains at least one Monday.

Gorr-News: I'm with Coco

First off, let me just point how ironic it is that, after so much time without an actual post (besides Music Video Mondays, which don't really count) I announce that I will have even LESS time to spend on this blog, then moments later I make my first real post in weeks.
Now, to the news
I have never really been too interested in late night television shows such as "The Tonight Show" "Late Night" "Later Than Late Night" "Tonight" "Later Tonight" etc. However, after moving into my new condo about a year ago, my cousin introduced me to The Tonight Show with Conan O'brien. I must say, I was hooked! That man was so hilarious, so smart, and so witty. Heck, he even LOOKED funny! I looked forward to every weekday night when I could sit and listen to this comedic genius.
Unfortunately, after seven short months of The Tonight Show with Conan O'brien, tragedy struck. Jay Leno, who had been the host of The Tonight Show in years past, was doing a terrible job at getting people to watch his prime-time show. Now, that isn't really tragedy in and of itself since I really don't like Mr. Leno and really wouldn't mind it if he failed miserably, BUT, the network executives decided that they weren't going to give up on Jay Leno completely, so, instead of just cutting him loose, they decided that they were gonna put Jay's show in Conan's time slot and move The Tonight Show to 12:05. Unfortunately, 12:05 is no longer night, it's morning, and therefore how do you have a Tonight show in the morning? Wouldn't it be The This Morning Show? Well, Conan was outraged that they would do this to the show, taking it out of it's perfect time slot and pushing it to a later time just so that Jay Leno could have his show (just get rid of him already!) and, at the end of it all, he agreed to leave and turn the show back over to Jay Leno so that it could stay intact at it's appropriate time slot.
Anyway, why do I tell you all this? Because Conan is COMING BACK! That's right! Starting in just a week or so, Conan O'Brien will have his own show on TBS! Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia (that's right, I'm actually using Wikipedia as a source):
On TBS, Conan will air Mondays through Thursdays beginning at 11:00 p.m., and will be immediately followed by comedian George Lopez on his talk show, Lopez Tonight. Comedian and actor Andy Richter will continue his returning role as sidekick to O'Brien. Conan's long-time house band will continue with the host under the new moniker Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band,[3] with Max Weinberg being replaced as drummer by regular substitute James Wormworth, and the bandleader being guitarist Jimmy Vivino, who has regularly substituted for Weinberg during his brief departures.
Anyway, I hope you're all as excited as I am! Heck, you could even come over and watch the show with me some time! Have an awesome day.
Dear Readers
Hello my one follower and anyone else who might happen to read this.
I am just letting you all know that I am currently in the process of starting my own small business. As some of you may know or imagine, this is going to take a lot of my time so, I apologize for any feelings of neglect that you might feel as a result of my giving less time to this blog, although you shouldn't be too shocked since I spend hardly any time on this in the first place! Thanks for your understanding and I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks!
Kyle

I know I'm a day late. I'm sorry. But, I really do love this song! The music video's fun too. Easily my favorite part of the World Cup (Sorry soccer fans, but I really cannot stand those blasted horns!).
